EARLY DEVELOPMENT & FOUNDATION TRAINING

The first 16 weeks of a puppy’s life are the most important developmental period it will ever experience. During this time, puppies learn extremely fast, absorb everything around them, and build habits and behaviors that will stay with them for life.

This critical stage shapes how the dog will respond to people, respect rules and boundaries, handle pressure, develop confidence, and function within the family and environment in the future. What is introduced during this period has a tremendous impact on the dog’s long-term behavior, stability, and mindset.

WHY EARLY TRAINING MATTERS

Early training at the breeder’s home helps place the puppy on the best possible path from the very beginning. Structure, discipline, communication, confidence-building, environmental exposure, and proper guidance introduced early create a much stronger foundation for the future.

Puppies naturally learn much faster than older dogs, which is why starting training early makes the process significantly easier, smoother, and more effective.

For owners without experience, we strongly recommend taking advantage of this important developmental period and allowing us to help guide your puppy through it correctly. Experienced breeders understand the breed, temperament development, and the correct balance between structure, confidence, discipline, and socialization.

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO START

Even if your dog is already past the critical developmental stage, it is never too late to train, rebuild foundations, or improve behavior. In many cases, returning to basic structure and proper communication can dramatically improve a dog’s mindset and overall behavior.

We also work with older dogs and behavioral cases for owners looking for guidance, structure, and professional support.

OUR TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Our training methods are structured, fair, balanced, and focused on clear communication between dog and owner.

We primarily use positive training techniques based on motivation, rewards, timing, and consistency. Approximately 90% of training is reward-based, while corrections are minimal and used only as guidance through energy and timing — never through violence, fear, intimidation, or aggression.

Under no circumstances do we use abusive or harmful training methods.

THE EARLIER THE FOUNDATION, THE BETTER THE FUTURE

A strong start creates a more confident, stable, respectful, intelligent, and balanced dog for life.
